The Academic Menstrual Equity Toolkit.

This toolkit was designed to provide useful information, tools, and resources to student groups, administrators, and institutions interested in providing menstrual products in their university communities.

When The Period Project at SMU began in 2018, we had no templates, instructions, or model for how to approach administration regarding this issue. Through our efforts and progress, we have learned important lessons, developed useful resources, and conducted valuable research.

Knowing how crucial the issue of menstrual equity is within education (and overall), we wanted to provide a foundation for others to build their academic menstrual equity initiatives upon.

We hope this toolkit gives you a head start in making critical change in your campus community.

A publicly accessible resource for students, institutions, and administrators interested in establishing menstrual equity on their campuses that features a guidebook for starting and continuing efforts towards academic menstrual equity, as well as presentation and research materials.
